Fortina Fitness Centre

The Fortina Fitness Centre offers a well equipped gym, with a section of strength equipment and free weights and a cardiovascular section with computerised treadmills, cross trainer, step machine and bicycles. For safety reasons, kindly consult our Gym Instructor before using gym equipment. Children under the age of 16 are not permitted in the Machinery area of the Gym.

The Fortina Fitness Centre can be described as the fitness centre offering the best view on the island whilst working out. The centre offers a vast array of membership packages to suit all needs and requirements. Our varied class timetable and our personal training sessions are just what you need to target all your personal fitness goals.

Yoga 

Dance yourself fit

FitCombat: A cardiovascular choreograph class, that incorporates moves from martial arts, kickboxing, karate, tai Kwando, boxing, tai chi and muay thai. A workout to high energy music which allows you to achieve an aerobic workout designed to:

  • Aqua Zumba

A Latin-inspired, dance fitness class that incorporates Latin and International music and dance movements, which create a dynamic, exciting, and effective fitness system! This class format combines fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body in an aerobic/fitness fashion to achieve a unique blended balance of cardio and muscle-toning benefits. Zumba means building stamina and losing weight!

Abs-O-Tastic

Get that flat & flawless tummy you have always wanted. Our ABS-O-TASTIC classes are a terrific way for you to strengthen tone and define the abdominal region.

Back Stretch & Strength

These classes are specially and specifically designed to reduce back aches & pains. Let us work together to mobilise, strengthen and stretch you upper mid and lower back. These classes also help with preventing future back problems. KISS YOUR BACK PAIN GOODBYE!

Boxing

Boxing is the most demanding but rewarding forms of exercise training. It conditions your entire body and provides one of the most challenging and enjoyable workouts of any sports. Some reasons to join our boxing classes:

Circuit Training

Aerobics & Aqua Aerobics

Aerobic is a kind of physical exercise that integrates rhythmic aerobic exercise with stretching and strength training routines with the objective of improving all elements of fitness (flexibility, muscular strength, and cardio-vascular fitness).

 

Personal Training

Our resident personal trainer is on hand to answer any questions and give any advice one may need, with regards to training as well as nutritional advice – thus offering an all round fitness package. One may book an initial free personal training session, then depending on your needs our personal trainer may tailor a personalised program to suit your training needs. Price is €15 for Members and €20 for Non-Members.

Nutritional Advice 

HealthPlus  DETOX Program

And there are no drugs or injections, no workouts, and no special meals that you need to buy. Just good wholesome food that you cook for yourself. Together with Food Intolerance Test(to determine the  food that are beneficial or not for your diet) and Body Stat Test – that will determine the composition of your body.

Slimming Programs ( 6/ 8/ 10/ 12 weeks)

Whether you've got a lot of weight to lose or just a few kilos, we'll help you develop a balanced approach to eating and exercise that will help you lose weight, improve you health, fitness, confidence and self esteem. We have combined leading specialists (Nutritionist, Physiotherapist, Sport Specialist, Life Coaching) to guide you throughout the program with immediate visible benefits.

Nutritional Evaluation

During the nutritional evaluation, our nutritionist will simply discuss your eating habits and after he will analyze your diet and physical activity for a period of few days, he will identify the hurdles you have to overcome. With his guidance this evaluation may be the best step you have made towards a healthier you.

Body Stat Test 

This test measure the level of your body mass index. It will show the percentages and kilos of your muscle, water and fat content, the Metabolic Rate at rest and will confirm your ideal healthy weight according to your height, age, and activity level.

All memberships allow access to the indoor pool and jacuzzi. In addition, the 6 month membership allows access to the Spa Santé Monday to Friday and the 1 year membership allows access to Spa Santé Monday to Saturday. The Spa Santé is a relaxation area which includes sauna, steam room, whirlpool, reflexology basin amongst other things.

Parking is free for all members and all non-members who attend our fitness classes.
